Job summary

Clarivate Analytics US LLC, Montgomery, AL, seeks a Senior Director of Cyber Security to lead enterprise-wide security strategy, strengthen operations, and protect our systems, data, and customers in healthcare and regulated environments.

You will partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to advance a risk-based program, mature controls, and ensure resilience across the Life Science portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of cybersecurity experience in regulated environments.
• 5+ years leading cyber security teams or programs.
• Familiarity with healthcare and life sciences requirements (GxP, FDA, HIPAA).
• Experience defining and executing enterprise cyber security strategy and operating models.
• Experience overseeing security operations, incident response, vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CIS Controls.

Responsibilities

• Support audits and regulatory inspections in healthcare and regulated environments.
• Define and execute cyber security strategy, roadmap and operating model to reduce risk.
• Lead programs across security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, governance, risk and compliance.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Procurement to embed security in products and processes.
• Oversee monitoring, escalation, investigation and response for security incidents with internal/external partners.
• Improve security controls, policies, standards, procedures, dashboards, metrics and reporting.
• Evaluate threats, identify gaps, and prioritize remediation with tech and product teams.
• Support audit, certification, and regulatory activities with measurable security practices.
• Develop and lead a high-performing cyber security team with coaching and resource planning.
• Communicate cyber risk and program performance to executive leadership.
