Dallas Independent School District seeks an Executive Director I to lead communications and operations across the district. The role oversees internal communications, translation services, call center, and departmental operations, directing a yearly plan to inform staff and stakeholders.

You will manage campaigns, guide budgets, and supervise multiple projects with the goal of engaging employees and upholding a positive district culture.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of related experience in communications.
• Ability to build consensus across divisions to deliver campaigns.
• Proven experience with message development and dissemination.
• Expert in social media tactics, trends, and analytics.
• Experience in managing communications for a complex organization.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal skills.
• Experience managing employees and maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to adapt to emerging media forms.
• Deep understanding and knowledge of the district; excellent writer.

Responsabilidades

• Create, direct and implement the district’s communication efforts to key stakeholders.
• Develop and implement a yearly comprehensive communication plan for internal stakeholders.
• Direct and support the development of internal messaging for campaigns across staff districtwide.
• Oversee campaigns promoting culture tenets and devise annual strategic plans.
• Manage call center and translation services, monitor trends and satisfaction.
• Research and apply targeted strategies and platform analytics for outreach.
• Develop and guide budgets for storytelling and campaigns.
• Supervise staff, allocate work, timelines and deliverables across projects.
• Collaborate with external and marketing staff for campaign alignment.
• Oversee department operations, update policies, improve efficiency, set goals, hiring and customer service.
