Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is hiring a Sr Director - R&D DDSAI - Biologics Discovery based in Spring House, PA with up to 25% travel. This role leads Data & AI strategy across Discovery Biologics and partners with scientists and IT to accelerate molecule discovery.

You will build a scalable AI-enabled biologics engine, drive cross-functional programs, and shape data foundations while advancing state-of-the-art AI for discovery.

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Protein Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, AI/ML, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of relevant experience applying data science, computational methods, or AI in drug discovery or related scientific environments, including 7+ years building and leading scientific or technical teams.
• Substantial experience in biologics discovery and translating ML/AI into experimentally grounded discovery decisions and adopted scientific workflows.
• Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder leadership with the ability to connect technical opportunities to scientific and organizational priorities.

Aufgaben

• Set the Data & AI Strategy across Discovery Biologics and translate priorities into a multiyear roadmap.
• Lead AI product development, evaluation, and deployment for antibody engineering and lab data analytics.
• Build durable data foundations and governance standards, ensuring FAIR principles and provenance.
• Partner with scientists and IT to connect design, experiments, data capture, and analysis to actionable design decisions.
