Job summary
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Principal Data Engineer dedicated to Biologics Discovery. This high-leverage role shapes how discovery data is structured, connected, and made AI-ready across Biologics Discovery.
Based at Spring House, PA (preferred) or Titusville, NJ, or Raritan, NJ, you will bridge scientific workflows, data consumers, and technology partners to deliver scalable data products for analytics, ML, and agentic AI workflows.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience designing and delivering data products and analytics-ready datasets in life sciences.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; cloud data platforms for analytics and ML.
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver AI-ready discovery data products for ML/AI workflows.
- Lead scalable data integration, transformation patterns, and data schemas.
- Translate scientific requirements into data product specs and data contracts.
- Define data access patterns to enable analytics and agentic AI.
