Job summary

Sarepta Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Director of National Accounts to lead account plans for payer channels across commercial, Medicaid, and PBM segments. This role requires extensive payer relationships, policy input, and collaboration with Marketing, Finance, and Regulatory teams to drive market access for Sarepta’s Duchenne program and future launches.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, relationship management, contracting, and ensuring payer access while navigating a hybrid work

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive national/regional account management experience.
• Payer, Medicaid, and PBM account management experience required.
• Experience with Buy and Bill (J-Codes) required.
• Medical Policy and Contracting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, implement, and execute account level business plans for payer accounts.
• Lead or advise on opportunities with development and improvement of medical policy.
• Obtain and maintain access for Sarepta’s DMD product with payers and PBMs in commercial, managed Medicaid, and Marketplace lines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Sales, and other stakeholders to meet product objectives.
• Serve as a core cross-functional team member on complex projects.
• Provide marketplace feedback to corporate management on trends and opportunities.
• Educate payers on value of future launches and anticipate coverage.
