Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily property operations, supervise staff, and drive financial and operational goals within our community.

You will conduct inspections, hire and train team members, ensure leasing objectives, and maintain compliance with policies. AMC offers competitive compensation with benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of property management experience.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge in Fair Housing.
• Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the property within financial guidelines.
• Perform daily physical inspections of the property and coordinate with the maintenance team.
• Maintain direct supervision of all staff, including work schedules and delegation of duties.
• Interview and hire all property employees.
• Ensure all AMC policies and procedures are upheld and infractions reported.
• Meet leasing objectives by using proper sales techniques including first-hand leasing.
• Exercise independent judgment to handle resident requests or concerns.
• Take responsibility for administrative duties including reporting.
• Implement and maintain a resident retention program (newsletter, referrals, social activities).
• Design/maintain a marketing and advertising concept for staff to implement.
• Ensure property compliance with OSHA, Fair housing, and AMC safety guidelines.
• Investigate and report incidents regarding residents, employees, vendors or others.
