Job summary

Lyon Living is seeking a Director of Acquisitions to identify, underwrite, and close multifamily and mixed-use projects in a fast-paced market. You will report to the CIO and manage the pipeline from sourcing through due diligence and contract execution.

The role requires deep capital markets relationships, advanced financial modeling, and a proven track record of sourcing both on-market and off-market deals. Travel up to 80% is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in commercial real estate investments or acquisitions.
• Lead transactions totaling $500M+ as lead acquisition officer.
• Bachelor’s in Finance/Real Estate/Economics; graduate degree preferred.
• Strong Excel real estate modeling skills.
• Travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Identify, source, and evaluate viable multifamily and mixed-use opportunities.
• Build relationships with brokers, lenders, owners, equity partners, and authorities.
• Maintain a robust deal pipeline and provide market intelligence to leadership.
• Oversee financial modeling, cash flows, IRR, and debt/equity sizing.
• Lead due diligence, LOIs, PSAs, and JV/loan documents with counsel.
• Coordinate with internal teams on post-acquisition budgets and cost assumptions.
