Job summary

Hudson Investing seeks a senior acquisitions lead to drive sourcing, underwriting, and closing multifamily deals. You will own the pipeline, manage broker and lender relationships, and lead a junior analyst through the deal lifecycle.

Role requires personally closing deals, Excel expertise, and Midwest network development; travel is required, and you will report directly to the founder and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in multifamily acquisitions, investment sales, or a principal-side investment role.
• You have personally sourced, underwritten, and closed deals, not just supported someone who did.
• Expert in Excel; understands multifamily benchmarks, KPIs, debt structures, and waterfalls.
• Strong phone game; existing Midwest relationships is a plus.
• Willing to travel and visit properties, including overnight trips.
• Degree in finance, real estate, or related field; we care about closing wins.

Responsibilities

• Source and develop a robust deal pipeline across target markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, owners, and lenders.
• Oversee underwriting with an analyst and stress-test deal cash flows.
• Lead site visits and broker meetings; assess submarkets and asset quality.
• Draft LOIs, negotiate terms, and guide deals to closing.
• Coordinate due diligence, third-party reports, and financing quotes.
• Prepare investment memos with clear rationale for investors.
• Mentor and grow the investment team as opportunities arise.
