Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or public health.
• 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, including multi-site environments; 5+ years in senior leadership preferred.
• 3–5 years in dental operations, ambulatory care, or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) settings preferred.
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for multiple dental sites, aligning with objectives and enforcing standardized workflows and policies.
• Monitor KPIs such as patient volumes and wait times; present reports with actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Oversee site-level coordination with Dental Center Managers, including staffing, equipment maintenance, and supply management.
• Lead workforce management: recruiting, onboarding, evaluations, training, and disciplinary processes.
• Facilitate regular meetings with Dental Center Managers to review performance and address challenges.
• Liaise with finance, HR, IT, primary care, and behavioral health to support integrated care delivery.
• Drive clinical initiatives, standardized protocols, and quality metrics with executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regulations (HRSA, HIPAA, OSHA, ForwardHealth) and related standards; audit and educate staff.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives focusing on patient flow, scheduling, billing accuracy, documentation, and claims processing.
• Conduct site audits and collaborate with compliance to resolve incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in annual dental department budgeting and target setting.
• Oversee scheduling, eligibility verification, collections, prior authorizations, documentation, and claims reconciliation workflows.
• Build partnerships with community organizations and public health stakeholders to expand access and address disparities.
