Job summary

Stampede Midstream, based in Denver, seeks an engineering leader to oversee gathering, compression, processing and pipelines across DJ Basin assets. This role focuses on asset integrity, safety, regulatory compliance, and capital development.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, set technical direction for design, cost estimates, construction and operation, and partner with Operations, Business Development, EHS, and executives to optimize performance and value.

Qualifications

• Requires a Mechanical/Chemical/Petroleum/Civil engineering degree with 12+ years in oil and gas.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams and capital projects.
• Deep knowledge of gas gathering, compression, processing, and pipelines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of applicable industry standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and foster accountability, collaboration, and safety.
• Provide strategic direction for design, cost estimates, construction, and operation of assets.
• Oversee planning, execution, and commissioning of capital projects within schedule and budget.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards and best practices.
• Improve asset reliability, integrity, throughput, and reduce operating costs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company safety standards.
• Support risk management, process safety, and root cause investigations.
• Present updates to senior leadership.
