Stampede currently owns and operates more than 150 miles of crude gathering and transportation pipeline and over 175 miles of produced water gathering pipeline across more than one million combined dedicated acres. Stampede also operates a robust fresh water supply, storage, and distribution system, as well as the Ren Compressor Station and associated gas gathering and gas lift infrastructure in the northeastern DJ Basin. Stampede currently transports more than 80,000 barrels of crude oil per day, 100,000 barrels of produced water per day, and gathers more than 75 MMcf of natural gas per day.
The Senior I&E Technician is critical to the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our Midstream assets. This role supports uptime, regulatory compliance, and operational performance by maintaining instrumentation, electrical, automation, and communication systems while providing technical leadership to the I&E team.
The successful candidate is a safety-focused leader with strong technical and troubleshooting skills. They work effectively with Operations, Engineering, contractors, and vendors to support Midstream facilities while balancing priorities, solving complex problems, mentoring others, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and accountability.
The Senior I&E Technician provides technical leadership and support for instrumentation, electrical, control, and communication systems across Midstream facilities. This position serves as a lead technician responsible for maintenance, reliability, troubleshooting, and team support.
Additional Information
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $41.00 - $66.00 hourly in this location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.

This position is located Briggsdale, CO. This position isn’t available for remote work. Candidates currently residing in locations outside of daily commuting distance will be considered, however, no relocation or travel assistance will be provided by the Company for this position.
This position operates in a field environment. This entails working outside in variable weather conditions. Employee could be exposed to extreme weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations or dust.
In the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time. While at work sites, the employee will be expected to walk and stand. Individuals might be asked to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and/or crawl. Individuals might be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in the performance of this position.
This is a full-time position. This position will require working nights and weekends occasionally as dictated by the operational needs of the field. Typical work hours are from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Employees must be capable and willing to work overtime as required. Employees responsible for project operations are expected to monitor and, in some cases, respond to emails, calls, or texts outside of business hours.
Routine, even daily, travel to remote locations will be expected. Overnight stays may be required from time to time for training, seminars, or visits to other company office locations.
