Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Director of Materials Management to lead strategic oversight of procurement, inventory and logistics. You will work on a hybrid schedule, driving cost efficiency and material availability to support production and operations.

You will report to the VP ISC and guide end-to-end procurement, vendor relationships, and supply chain resilience across the Industrial Automation unit.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership in materials management, procurement and logistics (15+ years).
• Experience managing complex supply chains in industrial/automation sectors.
• Proficiency with MM software and ERP systems for data-driven decisions.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement materials management strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with production, quality, finance, and procurement teams for demand forecasting and procurement planning.
• Oversee inventory to minimize excess/obsolete stock while meeting production needs.
• Manage end-to-end procurement, including vendor selection, contracts, and cost control.
• Ensure efficient transportation and logistics of materials to support production.
• Identify and implement process improvements leveraging technology and best practices.
