Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Director Materials Management to lead the end-to-end materials function for Industrial Automation. You will drive procurement, inventory optimization, and logistics to ensure material availability for production and operations.

You will report to the VP ISC and shape strategies, optimize costs, and build resilient supply chains through cross-functional leadership and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership in materials management, procurement, and logistics.
• Experience optimizing supply chains in industrial/automation sectors.
• Experience using materials management software and ERP systems for data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement materials management strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Forecast demand, plan procurement, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Oversee inventory management to minimize excess and ensure material availability.
• Lead end-to-end procurement activities including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
• Ensure efficient transportation and logistics of materials to support production.
• Identify and implement process improvements leveraging technology.
