Job summary

The Miami Foundation seeks a Director/Senior Director of Philanthropy to lead identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding high-net-worth individuals and families aligned with our mission in Greater Miami.

This relationship-driven role requires building trust, developing relationships, and creating opportunities, with an open stance toward traditional or non-traditional fundraising backgrounds.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of fundraising or related relationship-management experience.
• Proven ability to secure major gifts and manage donor portfolios.
• Experience with high-net-worth individuals and family offices preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate prospective donors and families.
• Manage a donor portfolio and secure major gifts.
• Represent the Foundation at community and philanthropic events.
• Develop philanthropic opportunities aligned with community needs.
• Provide donor stewardship and reporting to leadership.
