Job summary

The Miami Foundation is seeking a Director/Senior Director of Philanthropic Engagement to lead relationships with professional advisors and grow the Foundation’s legacy and planned giving programs. This highly relationship-driven role involves meeting estate attorneys, wealth advisors, accountants, and community leaders, and turning conversations into enduring philanthropic partnerships.

Qualifications

7+ years in philanthropy, planned giving, or related fields.
Proven success building relationships with professional advisors and high-net-worth individuals.
Experience developing referral networks or strategic partnerships.
Strong presentation, facilitation, and public-speaking skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary relationship manager for professional advisors.
Build and manage advisor network.
Develop relationships positioning the Foundation as a resource for charitable planning.
Identify and cultivate new centers of influence.
Organize advisor-focused educational programs and events.
Represent the Foundation at professional and community events.
Develop strategies to turn advisor relationships into donor referrals and partnerships.
