Job summary

EY-Parthenon, a leading strategy and execution practice within EY, seeks a Senior Director to lead and execute complex M&A deal finance projects. You will shape transaction strategy for finance, guide client delivery across sectors, and invest in business and people development.

You will work in a fast-paced, global environment, leveraging deep finance knowledge, AI tools, and a collaborative culture to help CFOs and senior executives realize strategic value from transactions.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 8 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience. MBA is preferred.
• Significant experience in M&A management consulting and operational Finance (e.g., accounting, reporting, budgeting and planning, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, financial systems).
• Experience in Finance integrations or separations (divestitures and/or carve-outs).
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• Knowledge of firm-approved AI tools (including Microsoft Copilot).
• Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours as needed.
• Residence in or commutable distance to the office location.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute M&A projects focused on CFO agenda and Finance function.
• Develop the transaction strategy for finance and support client delivery across sectors.
• Dedicate a portion of time to business and practice development and to mentoring team members.
