Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Director in Transaction Advisory/Financial Due Diligence to lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements. You will supervise teams, assess earnings quality, cash flows, working capital, and provide actionable recommendations across industries from healthcare to financial services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of financial accounting due diligence experience at a top accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related major.
• CPA certification or in the process of obtaining one.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and purchase accounting.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to articulate to senior members of target management, client representatives and colleagues.
• Strong project management skills.
• Flexibility to work as both a team member in a collaborative setting and as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and mentor all levels of employees.
• Lead conversations with clients and lenders.
• Manage multiple engagements of varying size and complexity.
• Identify potential transaction risks and implement risk-mitigating strategies.
• Lead the Quality of Earnings, P&L and Working Capital analyses.
• Generate a full due diligence report and present findings to stakeholders.
