Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Director for Transaction Advisory/Financial Due Diligence to join our Global TAG team in the US. You will lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, assess quality of earnings, cash flows, working capital and key drivers for private equity and corporate clients.

You will mentor staff, manage multiple engagements of varying size, and collaborate with clients and lenders to deliver actionable insights that support deal decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of financial accounting due diligence experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and purchase accounting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong PM abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor all levels of employees.
• Handle personnel matters with employees effectively.
• Lead conversations with clients and lenders.
• Manage multiple engagements of varying size and complexity.
• Identify transaction risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead QOE, P&L and Working Capital analyses.
• Maintain client relationships and expand services.
