Selby Jennings is seeking a Senior Loan Operations leader to oversee the loan book of record and manage relationships with administrators, agents, and other external providers. The role spans Operations, Technology, Data, and Investment teams to drive operational excellence and scalable processes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in loan operations or related fields, with a Bachelor's degree and preferred MBA/CFA/CPA credentials.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in loan operations, investment operations, or loan administration in financial services.
• Bachelor's degree is required; MBA, CFA, or CPA are preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of private credit and broadly syndicated loan products.
• Experience overseeing loan records, cash activity, reconciliations, and data consistency across platforms.
• Strong familiarity with loan servicing structures and administration systems.
• Demonstrated success driving workflow optimization and automation.
• Excellent relationship management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the accuracy and completeness of the loan portfolio across all internal systems, ensuring positions, cash movements, valuations, and related data remain aligned and up to date.
• Manage day-to-day loan operations activities, including reconciliations, exception management, and data accuracy oversight.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for loan agents, servicers, administrators, and external service providers.
• Provide oversight of complex loan lifecycle events such as amendments, restructurings, workouts, distressed situations, and non-standard transactions.
• Identify and implement operational enhancements that improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support business growth.
• Partner on technology initiatives, vendor evaluations, and infrastructure projects to optimize the loan operations platform.
