Job summary

Healio Strategic Solutions seeks a Senior Director of Business Development and Market Strategy to grow strategic solutions for life sciences and medical device clients across media formats. You will lead prospecting, client planning, and program execution with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years in medical communications, strong communication and presentation skills, and willingness to travel, including overnight and weekend trips.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in medical communications or promotional medical education.
• Experience across diverse therapeutic areas and industry trends.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell strategic solutions to pharma/medical device companies for promotional and disease-state awareness activities.
• Prospect for new business via calls, emails, and meetings; follow up to grow accounts.
• Develop strategies and concepts for disease-state awareness, pre-launch and launch programs.
• Travel to conventions and work with clients on planning, messaging and execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams (program management, account management) for delivery.
