Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Director of Investor Relations to serve as the primary liaison to the investment community and advise the CEO, CFO, and Board on market perceptions and capital markets trends.

The role leads IR strategy, engages with investors, analysts, and rating agencies, and partners with Finance, Legal, Communications, and Strategy to deliver clear, compliant investor communications. Strong leadership and public-company experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in Investor Relations, Finance, Treasury, Equity Research, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Strategy, or a related capital markets discipline.
• 5+ years of leadership experience within Investor Relations, Finance, Capital Markets, or a related function.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's investor relations strategy, ensuring the investment community understands the strategy and growth opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, CFO, and Board on investor sentiment, ownership trends, and market dynamics.
• Translate technology, product architecture, and financial performance into a clear investment narrative for investors and analysts.
• Lead the company’s investor-facing communications and engagement, including quarterly earnings materials and calls, investor presentations, and conferences.
• Shape investor communications around strategic initiatives and capital allocation decisions.
