Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Director of Investor Relations to lead the company’s investor communications and external narrative. You will partner with Finance, Strategy and Legal to deliver credible earnings materials and engagements with investors, analysts, and rating agencies, shaping the investment story for long-term value creation.

You will guide the IR function, synthesize market intelligence, and ensure transparent disclosures while engaging senior executives and the Board on capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in Investor Relations, Finance, Treasury, Equity Research, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Strategy, or a related capital markets discipline.
• 5+ years of leadership experience within Investor Relations, Finance, Capital Markets, or a related function.
• Significant public‑company Investor Relations experience, including earnings, investor and analyst engagement, public disclosures, and executive preparation.
• Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, Regulation FD, disclosure requirements, securities laws, and public‑company reporting obligations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's investor relations strategy and external investment narrative.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, rating agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Lead investor-facing communications, including earnings materials and calls, presentations, and conferences.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Communications, Strategy, and business leaders for compliant disclosures.
• Monitor market intelligence and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
• Shape communications around major strategic transformations and capital allocation decisions.
• Develop a high-performing Investor Relations function with defined processes and metrics.
• Personally drive analysis, executive messaging, and investor communications when appropriate.
