Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Leader to design and govern SOC 1 compliant controls across multiple sites. You will drive KPI programs, optimize WMS modules, and coordinate with auditors to ensure robust, auditable inventories that protect client assets.

You will lead a regional team, manage budgets, and train site teams on compliance and documentation standards while partnering with BD to formalize SLAs for new clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in supply chain with 5+ years in multi-site leadership.
• Experience managing inventories under external SOC 1 / SOX audits.
• APICS or internal audit certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own design and execution of SOC 1 inventory control frameworks.
• Maintain auditable trails for all inventory adjustments, write-offs, transfers.
• Partner with auditors during SOC 1 Type II examinations.
• Remediate control deficiencies to prevent qualified opinions.
• Govern user access and logging within the WMS for seg of duties.
• Design and execute enterprise-wide 3PL inventory control strategy.
• Standardize cycle counting, physical inventory, reconciliation across sites.
• Establish and monitor KPIs like IRA and shrink.
• Optimize WMS modules to automate workflows.
• Lead root-cause analyses for inventory discrepancies.
• Serve as senior client auditor liaison for SOC 1 reports.
• Provide assurance on control effectiveness to clients.
• Collaborate on inventory SLAs and control frameworks for new clients.
• Present control metrics during client QBRs.
• Direct and mentor regional inventory teams.
• Manage annual departmental budget for inventory control.
• Train teams on SOC 1 compliance and documentation standards.
