Job summary

Nextech is seeking a Senior Director - Integration (M&A) to lead the integration of acquired companies into our ERP, finance, and reporting platforms. You will report to the SVP of M&A and drive end-to-end integration initiatives that enhance consistency and scale across the organization.

You will coordinate Finance, IT, Operations, and Corporate Development, identify risks, develop Day 1 plans, and build playbooks for future integrations. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of experience in consulting, transaction advisory, M&A integration, corporate development, ERP implementation, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting operations, and ERP systems.
  • Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional integration initiatives.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Senior Director - Integration (M&A), you will play a critical leadership role inNextech’s acquisition strategy by ensuring newly acquired companies are successfully integrated into our financial, operational, and technology platforms. Reporting to the SVP of M&A, you will lead high-impact initiatives that drive consistency, scalability, and long-term value creation.

  • Lead end-to-end integration efforts from transaction close through operational stabilization
  • Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans, timelines, and milestones across multiple functional areas
  • Drive alignment and execution across Finance, Accounting, IT, Operations, and Corporate Development teams
  • Identify integration risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • Build, standardize, and continuously improve integration playbooks and best practices
  • Partner during due diligence to support integration readiness and post-close success
  • Develop Day 1 readiness plans and detailed post-close integration roadmaps
  • Oversee integration into Nextech’s financial reporting, accounting, and control environment
  • Align chart of accounts, accounting policies, reporting structures, and financial processes
  • Lead financial data migration, validation, and reporting accuracy initiatives
  • Coordinate billing processes, revenue recognition, and month-end close integration activities
  • Direct onboarding of acquired companies into ERP and financial systems
  • Oversee data mapping, testing, system validation, and user adoption efforts
  • Collaborate with IT teams and external partners to execute systems integrations
  • Drive workflow standardization, automation, and operational efficiency
  • Maintain integration dashboards and executive-level reporting on milestones, risks, and progress
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that support Nextech’s aggressive growth strategy

Min Compensation

USD $185,000.00/Yr.

Max Compensation

USD $230,000.00/Yr.

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking a strategic, results-driven leader with a strong financial foundation and proven experience managing complex integrations in fast-paced growth environments.

  • 5-10+ years of experience in consulting, transaction advisory, M&A integration, corporate development, ERP implementation, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting operations, and ERP systems
  • Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional integration or transformation initiatives
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple integrations and competing deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on executionDemonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders across multiple business functions
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
  • Strong financial and operational acumen
  • Experience working in private equity-backed or highly acquisitive organizations preferred
  • CPA or equivalent financial background preferred
  • Experience integrating multiple acquired businesses preferred
  • ERP implementation or financial systems transformation experience preferred
  • HVAC, field services, or service-based industry experience preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed
Physical Requirements
  • Continuously able to work in office environment
