Job summary

The Mutual Group is seeking a Sr. Director, Infrastructure to lead our global infrastructure team and own platform governance across AWS and Azure. You will drive reliability, security, and scalable services with a focus on cost control and vendor performance in a hybrid environment.

You will partner with Security, Workplace Services, and Application teams to ensure stability and high-performing platform delivery, while directing DR readiness and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure engineering, cloud, and enterprise operations.
• 7+ years leading infrastructure or platform engineering teams.
• Strong experience across AWS, Azure tenant services, network, and compute platforms.
• Experience overseeing managed service providers and vendor performance.
• Proven incident management and operational leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of infrastructure engineers across cloud, compute, network, database, identity, and shared services.
• Own end-to-end infrastructure platforms, including AWS and Azure services, Windows/Linux, network, and databases.
• Ensure platform availability, performance, scalability, and resilience across all infrastructure services.
• Define platform standards, processes, and ownership models; enforce DR readiness and testing.
• Govern all MSPs, SLAs, and vendor performance; lead reviews and issue resolution.
• Drive automation, infrastructure-as-code, and standardization to improve efficiency.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and production deployment processes for controlled releases.
