Job summary

MMG Insurance is modernizing its technology backbone with a Director of Platform Engineering to own cloud, on‑prem, DevOps, and reliability. You’ll lead a team of about five engineers, collaborate with CIO, and drive the modernization agenda across hybrid Azure and on‑prem environments.

You will shape governance for agentic AI, implement robust monitoring, and establish cost‑transparent platform practices, while maintaining security and reliability at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience leading platform engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
• Strong knowledge of cloud and on‑premises environments, with Azure focus.
• Proven ability to design scalable, reliable platform solutions and governance for AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own DevOps and platform delivery platforms including CI/CD and IaC.
• Lead hybrid Azure and on‑prem infrastructure projects and incident response.
• Coach and develop a small engineering team and set engineering standards.
• Communicate platform risk, constraints, and investment needs to nontechnical leaders.
