Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 7years’ experience in information security or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
• Option 2: 9 years’ experience in information security or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
• 4 years’ supervisory experience.
• Certification in Security+, GISF, CISM, or CISA, Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 5 years’ experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive cyber risk management strategies aligned with organizational policies and industry standards.
• Oversee security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response to proactively address emerging threats.
• Direct the creation and enforcement of corporate security policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate security gaps and recommend effective risk mitigation measures.
• Guide audit processes and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security posture and operational effectiveness.
• Foster strategic partnerships to support security governance and drive innovation in cybersecurity practices.
