Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Software Engineer III, Information Security, to deliver advanced security services, analyze systems, and guide incident response.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to design secure solutions and maintain reliable, enterprise-grade security capabilities. You’ll join the Security Partners Engineering team, building automated security controls and AI-driven workflows to enhance security evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; 3 years’ IT experience in past 7 years or 5 years’ IT experience in past 7 years; or a Master’s degree

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support for enterprise security services by troubleshooting, resolving issues, and maintaining code and configurations using version control.
• Analyze systems and business processes to design and implement effective security solutions aligned with customer requirements.
• Lead and participate in SDLC activities, including writing, testing, debugging, and installing software and scripts.
• Monitor system performance, alerts, and reliability, driving problem identification and coordinating resolutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver technical presentations, documentation, and continuous improvements to security applications and processes.
