Walmart Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Information Security in Bentonville, AR to design, develop, and maintain advanced enterprise security solutions.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, analyze requirements, and implement secure software and hardware changes across the technology stack. The role focuses on reliability, scalability, and regulatory compliance within Walmart’s security program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field with 5–7 years IT experience in past 10 years.
• Experience in information security including cloud and infrastructure security principles.
• Proficiency with SDLC processes and version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support for enterprise security services by troubleshooting, resolving issues, and maintaining code and configurations using version control.
• Analyze systems and business processes to design and implement effective security solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Lead technical design, development, testing, and debugging of security programs and scripts following established SDLC.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs, propose solutions, and ensure successful implementation and documentation of security measures.
• Monitor system performance, alerts, and reliability while continuously improving security infrastructure and processes.
• Communicate technical findings and updates clearly to customers, management, and technical teams.
