Job summary

Walmart is seeking a seasoned Business Information Security Partner to strengthen secure technology delivery for our customers. The role bridges the Information Security Partners organization with business units to predict needs and accelerate secure delivery.

The team focuses on secure cloud transformation, threat detection, risk reduction, and a culture of reliability. You will lead security for technology teams and drive scalable security practices across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area.
• 8 years’ experience in cybersecurity risk or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
• Certification in Security+, GISF, GSEC, CISA, CISSP, CCSP, or CISM.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Information Security leader for assigned technology teams, aligning security priorities with business objectives and engineering needs.
• Embed scalable, automated security practices throughout the software development lifecycle to strengthen security posture.
• Identify security opportunities, define maturity roadmaps, establish risk ownership, and drive accountability for reducing security risk.
• Translate business needs and risks into actionable security requirements, using data and expertise to inform senior leaders and product teams.
• Partner across Technology and Information Security to prioritize work, resolve cybersecurity issues, manage risk decisions, anticipate future needs, and lead escalations involving security incidents.
