Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Director of Indirect Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise-wide indirect spend strategy across healthcare and regulated industries, driving governance, supplier performance, and value creation.

You will partner with executive leaders, translate priorities into category roadmaps, and mentor a procurement team to deliver cost optimization, resilience, and organizational growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in procurement leadership roles.
• 5+ years leading procurement teams.
• Experience with enterprise indirect spend in healthcare or regulated industries.
• Strong executive presence and influence.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year indirect procurement and category management strategy aligned with objectives.
• Translate priorities into category roadmaps, sourcing plans, supplier strategies, and measurable procurement outcomes.
• Lead procurement planning processes that optimize total cost of ownership and supplier performance.
• Establish category governance frameworks, sourcing standards, and procurement policies.
