Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking a Senior Director, Sales Executive - IFP to accelerate membership growth in the Individual & Family Plan market. You will lead direct and channel sales teams, including broker and inside sales, with support during open enrollment, reporting to the Growth & State Policy Strategy Leader.

Based in California with teams in Sacramento and Woodland Hills, you will build high-performing, compliant sales programs, develop distribution partnerships, and coach leaders

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Requires at least 12 years of prior relevant experience including 6 years of management experience.
• Requires Individual Family Plan (IFP) or Medicare health insurance sales experience.
• Requires an active Health and Life license with the California Department of Insurance.
• Requires existing relationships with key distribution channels or partners in the IFP or Medicare market within the state of California.
• Requires familiarity and/or understanding of the ACA and exchange marketplaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sales strategies and teams for IFP and Medicare markets.
• Drive broker/channel and inside sales to accelerate membership growth in California.
