Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, seeks a Director of Program Management for the MIC team in San Jose, CA. You will lead new product programs across their lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery, scope control, and high quality, while coordinating with customers and internal teams in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires 10+ years in silicon/ASIC program management, strong PM skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in silicon/ASIC design management or program management.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Program Manager; PMP certification is a plus.
• SoC/ASIC Architecture, design, implementation, or validation experience.
• Technical appreciation of ASIC/ASSP flows across front end and back end.
• Program management and analytical skills; able to present to stakeholders.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Project and other PM tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Ability to motivate teams and lead in a matrixed organization.
• Strong communication skills and calm problem-solving under pressure.
• Ability to travel to Rambus sites and customer locations.

Responsabilités

• Lead IC products through the Product Lifecycle from Concept to Mass Production.
• Own on-time, on-spec, on-budget delivery with high quality.
• Plan schedules, budgets, risk assessments, resources, and track activities.
• Track program financial performance and expense profiles.
• Review and communicate changes in Scope / Schedule / Budget.
• Manage delivery of ES, CS, and NPI ramp.
• Address customer feedback and exceed expectations.
• Monitor product cost and margins; ensure targets are met.
• Lead regular meetings to align customers and teams.
• Present program status to executive management monthly.
