Job summary

MSC Industrial Direct Co.,Inc. seeks a Senior Director, HRBP to lead MSC's HRBP organization and set strategic direction for people strategies.

You will partner with senior executives to drive organizational design, workforce planning, leadership capability, and associate engagement across the enterprise. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will coach HRBP leaders, ensure consistency in governance and analytics, and drive change management across business units and corporate functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Strategic HRBP to senior executives.
• Experience leading teams and influencing change.
• Knowledge of talent management, succession planning, org design, employee relations, and workforce planning.
• Ability to influence executive leaders and drive enterprise-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise HRBP organization with strategic priorities and service standards.
• Build and coach a high-performing HRBP team across MSC.
• Create consistency in talent, performance, workforce planning, and employee relations.
• Establish governance, analytics, and best practices for HRBP delivery.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to integrate talent, learning, compensation, and culture initiatives.
• Advise executives on organizational design, workforce strategies, and change management.
• Oversee enterprise workforce planning and analytics to inform decisions.
• Drive data-driven talent decisions to strengthen bench strength and capabilities.
• Support large transformations, acquisitions, restructurings, and leadership development.
