Job summary

IDEX Corporation’s Mott Corporation seeks a Director of High Purity (Semiconductor) Operations to lead end-to-end manufacturing for ultra-high purity products used in advanced semiconductor manufacturing.

This senior role partners with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to scale production, drive lean improvements, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership experience.
• Strong experience in semiconductor components or gas delivery systems.
• Proven ability to scale operations while maintaining quality and delivery.
• Preferred advanced degree (MBA or Master’s).
• Continuous Improvement and Lean qualifications.
• ISO Class 5 Cleanroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead semiconductor high purity manufacturing operations including production, planning, maintenance, and support.
• Translate growth objectives into scalable operational strategies.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Establish short- and long-term capacity planning to meet customer demand.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to scale production.
• Act as senior operations interface for key semiconductor customers.
• Lead continuous improvement to improve yield and reduce variability.
