Job summary

Hickory Trail Hospital in DeSoto, Texas, seeks a Director of Business Development to lead community education and BD strategy for an 86-bed behavioral health facility serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area since 1988.

The role reports to Senior Management, drives the facility's BD plan, analyzes market trends, and partners with leadership to implement strategic goals. Responsibilities include reporting and refining BD initiatives and managing cross-functional relationships.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five (5) years director or manager level experience in a health care business development position with extensive community education/ business development experience resulting in measurable results, and with direct experience developing managed care agreements.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field is required; Master’s Degree a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• CPR certification, CPI and Verbal De-Escalation training within 30 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Community Education/Business Development efforts and refinement of the facility’s business development plan.
• Consult with the CEO and Senior Management on goals, philosophy, policies and systems for business development; report and present market data and trends.
