Job summary

Hickory Trail Hospital in DeSoto, Texas, an 86-bed behavioral health facility serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area since 1988, seeks a Director of Business Development. You will lead Community Education/BD efforts, shape the facility's BD plan, and work with the CEO and senior staff to implement strategic goals and systems across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in director/manager health care business development.
• Experience developing managed care agreements; knowledge of psychiatry and chemical dependency treatment principles.

Responsibilities

• Direct Community Education/Business Development efforts and develop the facility's BD plan.
• Consult with the CEO and senior management to design, implement, and oversee BD strategies.
• Oversee the Business Development Department and refine strategic goals and procedures.
• Report, analyze, and present current market data and trends; recommend appropriate BD plans.
