Job summary

UKG is seeking a Sr. Director, Software Engineering to lead the strategy, architecture, and operations of GTM platforms and their integrations. You will work with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Renewals, Finance, and Product to modernize the customer and revenue lifecycle.

You will set the engineering roadmap, drive design, data quality, security, and operational support; build AI-enabled experiences; and develop a high‑performing team while managing vendor relationships and budgets.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience across GTM platforms, sales engagement, customer experience, or marketing applications within enterprise SaaS or technology organizations.
• Experience leading in a global or highly matrixed organization with influence across functions and geographies.
• Strong operational and analytical acumen with data-driven decision making.
• Experience leading transformational initiatives and engaging senior stakeholders.
• Executive presence with ability to influence VP-level and senior cross-functional leaders.
• Proven ability to develop leaders, set high standards, and build an accountable culture.

Responsibilities

• Set the engineering strategy and multi-year roadmap for GTM platforms, aligning investments with business priorities.
• Lead platform design, development, integrations, automation, data quality, security, and operational support.
• Partner with business leaders to translate needs into roadmap and measurable outcomes.
• Modernize lead-to-cash experiences through initiatives like Project Nova.
• Establish platform standards and governance to improve reliability and agility.
• Guide AI and automation adoption in GTM workflows across systems of record and UX.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships across Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
• Build, coach, and retain a high-performing engineering organization; develop leadership depth.
• Manage vendor relationships, capacity, budgets, risks, and delivery across a complex portfolio.
• Track platform health and business outcomes to guide investment decisions.
