Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Director, Software Engineering to lead the GTM platform strategy, architecture, and operations, partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Product to modernize the customer and revenue lifecycle.

You will steer a portfolio including Salesforce, Clari, Eloqua, and integrations, driving AI-enabled improvements, governance, security, and an engineering culture focused on reliability and impact.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience across GTM platforms, sales engagement, customer experience, or marketing applications within enterprise SaaS or technology organizations.
• Experience leading in a global or highly matrixed organization with cross-functional influence across geographies.
• Strong operational and analytical acumen with data-driven decision making.
• Proven success leading transformational initiatives and engaging senior stakeholders.
• Strong executive presence and communication to influence VP-level leaders.
• Ability to develop leaders and build an accountable, inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Set the engineering strategy and multi-year roadmap for GTM platforms aligned with business priorities.
• Lead platform design, development, integrations, automation, data quality, security, and operational support.
• Partner with business leaders to translate needs into clear requirements, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
• Modernize lead-to-cash experiences and revenue lifecycle improvements.
• Establish platform standards and governance for reliability, security, and data consistency.
• Guide AI adoption in GTM workflows across UX, orchestration, and systems of record.
• Build strong partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Renewals, Finance, Product, and tech teams.
• Build and retain a high-performing engineering organization with a culture of accountability and inclusion.
• Manage vendor relationships, third-party providers, capacity, budgets, risks and delivery performance.
• Track platform health and business outcomes to guide investments.
