Senior Director, Growth - US Based Remote

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, a prestigious global real estate franchise, is seeking an exceptional leader for the role of Senior Director, Growth. This position is crucial for driving the strategic growth and retention of our nationwide network of over 150 affiliates, ensuring the delivery of world-class brand value customer experiences, and leading high-impact projects and processes. The Senior Director will work closely with leadership to develop and implement growth strategies, drive key customer renewals, promote the Anywhere Winning Behaviors through the network, and lead a high-performing team of Senior Growth Consultants.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of strategic vision, executive presence, and will be exceptional at cultivating and leveraging influential relationships to drive growth.

Additionally, this position will lead all franchise renewals (approximately 15 per year) and seller strategy (approximately 10 per year), by assisting companies interested in selling or acquiring other companies.

This role is 100% remote and will require travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership in Growth:
  • Spearhead affiliate growth and retention initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching goals.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for organic growth, recruiting, and mergers & acquisitions, along with supporting operational efficiency recommendations for affiliates.
  • Demonstrate exceptional skills in influence management and conflict resolution.
  • Anticipate and address leadership needs, ensuring seamless operations and strategic foresight.
  • Develop and maintain reporting, tracking, and follow-up for all key growth and renewal activities, maintaining strong relationships with BHGRE affiliates.
  • Lead a team of senior growth professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Renewals & Seller Strategy:
    • Navigate and secure key affiliate renewals through sophisticated negotiation strategies.
    • Lead the team in renewal efforts for companies interested in selling or acquiring affiliates.
    • Manage annual budgets and strategies with brand leadership and finance.
    • Oversee activities to meet budget requirements for renewals, funding, and seller strategies.
    • Work with the Franchise Sales team to identify acquisition and conversion opportunities.
    • Oversee VIP experiences for companies up for renewal or recently renewed.
  • Executive Presence & Brand Leadership:
    • Exhibit strong executive presence, influencing large affiliate owners.
    • Present confidently at brand events and showcases.
    • Balance brand objectives with affiliate goals for mutual success.
    • Drive participation in events, training, and initiatives.
    • Travel as necessary for relationship building and brand events.
  • Analytical & Technical Expertise:
    • Possess strong knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) and translate data into actionable strategies.
    Qualifications
    • 10+ years in real estate brokerage operations and strategic planning, with 5+ years in leadership. Proven growth and profitability track record.
    • Strong financial acumen, particularly in P&L management, and data-driven decision making.
    • Experience leading and mentoring teams, preferably remotely.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
    • Reside near a major airport with ability to travel 25% of the time.
    • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management systems, and web-based tools.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to own initiatives with executive potential.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
