Job description

Senior Director, Growth - US Based Remote

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, a prestigious global real estate franchise, is seeking an exceptional leader for the role of Senior Director, Growth. This position is crucial for driving the strategic growth and retention of our nationwide network of over 150 affiliates, ensuring the delivery of world-class brand value customer experiences, and leading high-impact projects and processes. The Senior Director will work closely with leadership to develop and implement growth strategies, drive key customer renewals, promote the Anywhere Winning Behaviors through the network, and lead a high-performing team of Senior Growth Consultants.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of strategic vision, executive presence, and exceptional relationship-building skills to drive growth.

Additionally, this position will lead all franchise renewals (approx. 15/year) and seller strategy (approx. 10/year), by assisting companies interested in selling their business or acquiring others.

This role is 100% remote and will require travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership in Growth:
  • Spearhead affiliate growth and retention initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching goals.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for organic growth, recruiting, and mergers & acquisitions, including supporting operational efficiency recommendations for affiliates.
  • Demonstrate influence management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Address BHGRE leadership needs, ensuring seamless operations and strategic foresight.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and tracking for all growth and renewal activities, and foster strong relationships with BHGRE affiliates.
  • Lead a team of senior growth professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Renewals & Seller Strategy:
    • Negotiate and secure key BHGRE affiliate renewals with sophisticated strategies.
    • Lead the renewal efforts for companies interested in selling or acquiring BHGRE or other Anywhere affiliates.
    • Manage annual budgets and strategies with brand leadership and finance.
    • Oversee activities supporting budget requirements, including renewals, funding, and terminations.
    • Coordinate with the Franchise Sales team on acquisition and conversion opportunities.
    • Manage the VIP experience for renewing or potential partner companies.
  • Executive Presence & Brand Leadership:
    • Exhibit strong executive presence and influence over affiliate owners.
    • Present confidently at large audiences and at brand events.
    • Balance brand objectives with affiliate goals to drive mutual success.
    • Encourage participation in events, training, and initiatives.
    • Travel as necessary for relationship building and brand representation.
  • Analytical and Technical Expertise:
    • Possess strong knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) and translate complex data into actionable strategies.
    Qualifications
    • 10+ years in real estate brokerage operations and strategic planning, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
    • Strong financial acumen, especially in P&L management, and experience in complex negotiations.
    • Proven leadership and mentoring skills, preferably in remote settings.
    • Excellent communication, influence, relationship management, and organizational skills.
    • Reside near a major airport with ability to travel up to 25%.
    • Technical proficiency in Microsoft suite, project management, and web-based tools.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to own initiatives with executive potential.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
