Job summary

Elbit Systems of America, LLC seeks a Sr. Director, Supply Chain (Electronic Systems) to lead a multi-site team based in Fort Worth, driving material availability, cost, inventory, and schedule performance.

You will establish governance cadences and partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to meet commitments. The role focuses on MPM, MPS, procurement governance, and lean materials flow, empowering leadership and ensuring supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Aerospace & Defense supply chain leading multi-site teams and large-scale transformations.
• MBA preferred, or demonstrable business acumen and leadership.
• Expertise in S&OP/MPS, MRP/ERP discipline, commodity strategy, contract negotiations (FAR/DFAR), and lean materials flow.
• Demonstrated success implementing RACI-based governance and operating norms.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and mature the Material Operating Model across Electronic Systems; maintain role clarity and separation of duties.
• Establish governance cadences: Daily shortage control, Weekly risk review, Monthly EAC, formal Program Reviews.
• Own divisional supply chain strategy and policy and ensure Procurement is the single execution voice to suppliers.
• Lead MPM to deliver material availability, inventory health, and program EAC.
• Lead MPS to sustain schedule integrity and feasibility; protect plan-of-record.
• Drive Planning excellence (MRP data quality, demand translation, PO maintenance, commit alignment) and Production Planning.
• Institutionalize shortage prevention and recovery and reduce firefighting through proactive constraint identification.
• Oversee Materials & Logistics performance (inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, material movement, kitting, shipping).
• Sponsor Supplier Quality problem-solving with SQE ownership of technical compliance.
• Align cross-functional decision-making with Finance for EAC validation, PPV governance, and cost reduction portfolio delivery.
• Develop leaders and talent pipelines; set standards for behaviors, escalation hygiene, and decision rights.
