Job summary

LillyDirect in the United States is seeking a Payments Operations leader to own the roadmap for payment services from next month through the next 18 months.

You will drive initiatives to improve authorization rates, lower processing costs, and prepare for regulatory, competitive, or internal shifts; ensure audit readiness.

As the primary payments contact for international affiliates, you will negotiate vendor contracts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in direct-to-consumer payments operations or related customer solutions delivery.
• Experience negotiating and managing vendor contracts.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Build roadmap for future payment services and capabilities (ACH, PayPal, BNPL, international expansion).
• Drive payment innovation to improve authorization rates and lower costs.
• Monitor regulatory and market changes affecting payments.
• Ensure audit readiness and strengthen vendor contracts (Adyen and future PSPs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed automation in payment ops.
