Job summary

Teledyne FLIR Defense is seeking a senior supply chain leader in Massachusetts to drive planning processes, implement efficiency projects, and lead procurement, planning, shipping, and warehouse teams. You will report on KPIs and inventory to Finance, Sales & Marketing, and key customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and implementation of a comprehensive supply planning process.
• Implement process improvement and systems projects to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and increase organizational capability.
• Provide regular updates to business unit leaders, interacting with multiple cross functional business.
• Ensure supply chain processes meet legal and trade compliance requirements and standards.
• Lead organization comprised of procurement, planning, shipping & receiving, and warehouse management teams.
• Evaluate and report on supply chain KPIs (part price variance, cycle count, excess and obsolete inventory, etc.).
• Provide regular reporting on inventory for Finance, Sales & Marketing, and key customers.
• Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.
• Develop talent and retention strategies within the supply planning team.
• Train, coach, and evaluate your immediate team of talent.
