Job summary

BD in the USA NY region invites a Senior Manufacturing Leader to guide site strategy, safety, and continuous improvement at the Sandy plant. You will mentor the plant leadership and coordinate with global supply chain teams to meet capacity and drive quality and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing with leadership experience, and Lean/Six Sigma expertise in regulated environments. This role offers growth within a global medical technology leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Preferred MBA or Engineering graduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to support business and operational goals with a zero-loss mindset.
• Establish and maintain a culture focused on employee safety and continuous improvement.
• Foster an environment that promotes employee empowerment, development, and engagement; implement workforce development plans.
• Lead and mentor the plant leadership team; ensure development goals, provide support and manage organizational changes.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and company policies.
• Oversee maintenance of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure per regulatory requirements.
• Promote environmental, health, and safety compliance aligned with standards.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Represent the Sandy plant in legal, regulatory, and community engagements; maintain a positive image.
• Partner with global supply chain teams to meet production capacity and ensure timely project execution.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and support audits and CAPA.
