Becton, Dickinson, and Company in Sandy, Utah, seeks a Plant Director to steer manufacturing operations for infusion therapy catheters and other medical devices. You will lead site strategy, drive safety improvements, and develop a high-performing team to meet production and quality goals.

This role directs the BD Sandy Plant in the manufacturing of infusion therapy catheters and other medical devices. The position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, driving continuous manufacturing improvement, supporting new product launches, and developing employees through training, education, and engagement. The role also supports the Vice President, Integrated Supply Chain in developing manufacturing strategies and participates in platform and core teams to achieve business and operational objectives.

This position is responsible for supervising a small team consisting of approximately 1 to 10 individuals. The role primarily focuses on overseeing people leaders within the organization rather than directly managing exempt or hourly associates.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field. Preferred: MBA or Engineering graduate degree.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience (medical device industry preferred). At least 8 years in leadership roles, including multi-level management. Experience with Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies.
