Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Senior Director of Environmental, Health and Safety to lead enterprise-wide EH&S programs across manufacturing, field service, installations, and customer sites. The role reports to the VP of Environment and Regulatory Law and emphasizes risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and strategic problem solving.

The ideal candidate has 20+ years of EH&S leadership experience, strong knowledge of OSHA/Cal/OSHA and environmental laws, and track record of building global EH&S

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.
• 20+ years of professional experience, including health & safety compliance and EH&S leadership for complex global operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide global leadership for Bloom Energy’s environmental, health and safety programs, focusing on occupational health and safety, workplace safety, field service, installations, manufacturing, and customer obligations.
• Execute on the vision, strategy, operating model, goals, policies, procedures, and metrics for EH&S management systems and programs.
• Lead and scale the EH&S organization to support domestic and international operations, including direct and regional teams.
• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment worldwide and track compliance matters.
• Develop and assess plans to ensure compliance with applicable EH&S laws, permits, regulations, and standards.
