Reporting to the Vice President, Environmental and Regulatory Law, this on‑site role provides strategic counsel across projects, operations, manufacturing, and policy, interfaces with agencies, and leads outside counsel to advance permitting, compliance, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar admission.
• 10+ years in environmental, land use, regulatory, compliance, or related fields.
• Experience counseling business teams in highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice on environmental, land use, safety, and sustainability matters.
• Advise on compliance obligations under federal, state, local, and international programs.
• Interface with regulatory agencies to advance company objectives and resolve issues.
• Lead outside counsel and manage matter budgets and strategies.
• Draft and negotiate environmental and risk-related contract language.
• Monitor evolving environmental laws and translate into business actions.
