Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Director, Global Corporate Controller to lead enterprise-wide controllership, close processes, and financial reporting across the organization.

You will drive internal controls, support M&A activity, and champion DBS-based improvements in finance processes and reporting, enabling transparency and strategic value in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive finance experience with leadership responsibility in planning, forecasting, financial analysis, business partnership, and performance management.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams across a geographically dispersed, global environment.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACA, or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide LBS controllership including the monthly/quarterly close, consolidation, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant actuals across all related deliverables.
• Drive strong financial stability through a disciplined close process, robust internal controls (SOX/DBS), technical accounting compliance (US GAAP), and reserve/cost discipline.
• Contribute to the finance workstream for M&A activity - due diligence, purchase accounting and opening balance sheet valuation, carve-out/stand-up financials, and post-close integration.
