Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Communications to establish and lead enterprise communications strategy for the AmAPAC region and the Americas.

You will report to the Chief Communications Officer and partner with regional leaders to strengthen reputation, executive visibility, and employee engagement. The role oversees external and internal communications for AmAPAC, with hybrid work options from our Greenwich, CT or Fort Lauderdale, FL offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of communications experience, including external communications and media relations.
• Experience in a global organization and matrixed environments preferred.
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management.
• Background in marketing, branding, or digital communications preferred.
• Proven track record in media relations, executive positioning, and brand positioning.
• Travel 10%–20% to U.S. sites and GXO offices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional communications strategies supporting business priorities across AmAPAC and the Americas.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to AmAPAC leadership and partner with regional business leaders.
• Translate business objectives into messaging and execution; elevate the company’s profile in the U.S.
• Lead external communications, media relations, and executive visibility programs.
• Integrate marketing capabilities into strategic internal communications; coordinate with brand teams.
• Foster employee engagement through clear internal communications; support change management.
• Lead and coach the communications team; manage agency partners and external vendors.
• Support CEO and regional leadership with communications programs and issues management.
